Rationalizing Terror

In this article by Judea Pearl, father of Daniel Pearl the slain Wall Street Journal reporter, he highlights the legitimization of Islamic terrorism.

"...barbarism, often cloaked in the language of "resistance," has gained acceptance in the most elite circles of our society."

"This mentality of surrender then worked its way through politicians like the former mayor of London, Ken Livingstone. In July 2005 he told Sky News that suicide bombing is almost man's second nature. "In an unfair balance, that's what people use," explained Mr. Livingstone."

"'It is imperative that the general Arab community and all significant Palestinian groups make it clear that they will end the suicide bombings and other acts of terrorism when international laws and the ultimate goals of the Road-map for Peace are accepted by Israel.' - Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid, Jimmy Carter"

"Qatari-based Al Jazeera television, for example, is still providing Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi hours of free air time each week to spew his hateful interpretation of the Koran, authorize suicide bombing, and call for jihad against Jews and Americans."

Once again, it is funny (not ha-ha funny, more like so infuriating it's funny) how what was once wrong and despised is becoming what should be accepted. ISRAEL should accept peace with an Arab Nation or the Palestinians? Despite numerous other problems with Carter, a supposed Christian should know that Israel is God's chosen people. Any nation who opposes them will be destroyed. So far they have proved that they have a strong military. They have gone through ups and downs like no other race/country, but they have always survived, and will continue to survive through the end of time. They will not give in to terrorist organizations unless a corrupt or weak gov't official is elected. But I doubt that happening. Unless the terrorists give up (doubtful), there will probably never be peace among the waring nations.
