Nuclear Power

This chart is from the Nuclear Energy Institute and shows the Production Costs for Coal; Natural Gas; Nuclear; and Petroleum. The capital outlay of a nuclear power plant is 4x that of natural gas; 2x that of coal; but the cost is recouped and nuclear fuels can be reprocessed. For those who are carbon emission cautious, there are no carbons emitted from nuclear power plants unlike natural gas or petroleum.
