The capital outlay of a nuclear power plant is 4x that of natural gas; 2x that of coal; but the cost is recouped and nuclear fuels can be reprocessed. For those who are carbon emission cautious, there are no carbons emitted from nuclear power plants unlike natural gas or petroleum.
