Seems to me if the U.S. as a whole took a tough stance on illegal immigration, our crime rates nationwide would decrease. We would also see less heinous crimes like those commited by illegal immigrants in New Jersey (which shot four students in the head execution style) or San Francisco (MS-13 gangbanger shot a father and his two sons with an AK-47 for blocking traffic).

I also think that responsible US CITIZENS should also be able to carry a side-arm unconcealed for protection. I've heard from several Big 5 customers that cities/counties where the gun laws are less strict, there is also less crime. Maybe it's because a guy will think twice before mugging or robbing someone. In California, most people know that we are not a gun friendly state so that means basically we're a bunch of antelope without horns and we're being hunted by sabre-tooths.
